The Working Hour - Tears For Fears
The Cramps version is on the 4 song CD "Blues Fix" which is excellent.
The Captain did not like 4/4 time - he called it bourgeois - and when he had his band play for part of a song in 4/4 he often sang in another time signature. This song, being the intro to a movie, had to be done as written and after a couple of Beefheart "excursions" Ry Cooder - who was solidly bourgeois - stood behind the Captain and whacked him on the shoulder when he needed to sing. Cooder thought he was the winner but Beefheart made his point and the song made it into Blue Collar and was released as a single. Zoot Horn Rollo said one song on Trout Mask Replica had 10 different tempo changes.
The Cramps version is really good - better than the rather pedestrian song.
