Day 2 of the C.C. Match; Gloucs. vs. Leics @ The Cheltenham Cricket Festival.

Good day for the hosts yesterday; Leics. all out for 252, the last wicket fell in the final over of the day.

Now lets see what the Gloucs. batsmen can do.

This post should have been put in the relevant thread, viz-a-viz the cricket thread. You wrote more here about what happened yesterday than what you're doing today. Here is the correct place for cricket talk, a sport I dislike a lot I might add.

So, without reporting on what happened yesterday, I'll be attending Day 3 of this match and of The Cheltenham Cricket Festival, but only until Tea.

I'm leaving early 'coz I'm off the The Forum in Bath to see k.d.lang this evening.

I'll be at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to watch Villa's return to the Prem. I can't believe we're back. :)

I'm going to continue with putting back all the bits that fell off the Morgan on holiday. Every post brings new parts. :)

Here's a helpful guide as to what bit goes where. :)

This will help our intrepid friend

I may have overlooked it but there seems to be no part with the number between 12 and 14. Is this so in the diagram?

I can guess [1] the Morgan company is superstitious or has evidence that its customers are; or[2] there is a part with this number but it is never part of the assembly because Morgan owner/drivers like the sound of metal on metal and sudden breakdowns; or[3] this is the number of the owner/driver.

Any help will be appreciated.

BOQ Bless

[4] The added omission of parts 15 and 29 suggests these vehicles are terrible death traps, those parts being vital components to the rigidity and ultimate safety of the car. :wtf:

I am in agreement with you and thanks for shedding further light on this subject. :)

It would seem a tin and balsa wood motor vehicle would be daring enough for anyone, but - as you point out - the deliberate absence of vital parts make the m-organ motorcar a dicey ride and ownership may just be a cry for help from National Health.

Yes, I do not disagree. Thanks for shedding light on the subject. I don't see many Morgans in SE West Virginia

It would be nice to say that the country roads had taken them home but our country roads are gravel and dirt and heavily rutted so I suspect that low clearance cars get hung up and immobilized. The country does have a motor grader but one grader vs 300 miles of dirt road...you can see that these aren't the autobahn or the N17.
