 The Hernia Thread

I believe it's tomorrow (Thursday) that Greasy Roads has his hernia op.

Let us all hope it goes well and nothing happens to cause any insufferable pain or permanent disfigurement.

I hear things have taken a turn for the worse, it might be more than a hernia and he's been rushed back into hospital.

I think I speak for us all in wishing him a speedy recovery. :(

I was worried something like that might be the case.

Wishing Greasy all the best, and hope for a speedy recovery too.

I haven't heard from him since Saturday evening when he was upset about Leicester beating Liverpool 3-1 and he called me a cunt. The cunt.

It's good to see that in recent times he is still coherent, and talking sense.

Greasy Roads update:

His latest texts suggest they're still doing blood and blood pressure tests, plus he's had several tubes inserted into whatever orifices they have to use. :skip:

Further update.

Greasy Roads has been in touch again, he's had more biopsies and won't know the results for up to a week, but it's almost certainly cancer. They just don't know what type yet. Let's just hope whatever it is they've caught the fucker early and can deal with it. :wtf:

Well, that doesn't sound too good.
After reading this thread at dannynonuts insistence I thought it was just a hernia op.
