Good for you - hope there are no side effects.

They say the second shot is more apt to have side effect; guess I'll find out Tuesday if things go as planned.

That's the one that's highly unsafe to use on hernia patients isn't it?

I've been out early and got an armful of Astra Zeneca, the one they reckon is crap after all but Boris says "never mind, it'll have to do". :wtf:

They had no Sputnik V in stock, the useless cunts.

No you don't because my research suggests it wasn't a movie at all, but a short film made for an American advert selling Mike's Iced Tea - the company also made lemonade.

There was a movie from the late 1950s(I think) where radiation, or something else dire, caused a mutation in which another being - a humanoid - grew inside a man and at the end of the film, the very small humanoid emerged from the man's shoulder. Can't think of the name but I watched it on late night tv.

The Manster - 1959 - an American/Japanese movie -- fans of B grade horror films will like it I think :)

See now we're getting somewhere, all it takes is a bit of Googling.

La Senhora and I got our Pfizer 2nd doses today - she at the Public Health and me at the doctor where I normally am treated. We'll see about the threatened side effects but so far so good.

Thanks for the good wishes RM, I am glad we've got the shots over with and that the minor finagling on my part for Mrs FHC got her her shots. :)

Yes -- change one subject of worry for another. I don't think I'll modify my behavior much at all and just wait for it to go away. The 1918 influenza - which originated in th state of Kansas and is misnamed The Spanish Flu - went away; I hope Covid will go away too.
