So neither of us did.
Were we breaking the law? Could we have been fined? :D

You as a client should obviously have worn a mask, the same rules apply as in a shop with the same exemptions.
https://www.hji.co.uk/coronavirus/rules ... rbershops/

Likewise your barber should also wear a mask and and additional visor for added protection, under new govt. regulations introduced on Saturday 15th August.

Clearly I shall be looking out for anyone flouting these rules and reporting them to the relevant authorities.

It's Maryport, West Cumbria. They don't give a fuck there.

Likewise my son who has recently returned from holiday in Amsterdam and is supposed to be in quarantine. i phoned his house on Saturday evening and the girlfriend answered and said he is out with his mates. :wtf:

Both you and your son's attitudes are exactly the reason the country is facing stricter measures, and I will not have these attitudes boasted about on my forum.

Happy Jack warned for condoning and assisting spread of the virus.

Sadly my business plans for weapons to sell in Teesside, with a note describing Routemaster to be enclosed with each, was turned down by the bank I approached for my entrepreneurial scheme :grrr:

How hard is it get a pint?

I was in Carlisle to get my nose pierced yesterday. Afterwards I wanted a pint before the bus home. I stopped at a table and started to roll one. A bouncer approached me and asked 'Have you booked that table?" Me-'No' then he said 'Don't touch the table'
I went to The Apple Tree. 'Have you booked?' 'No' 'it will be a 20 minute wait for a table'
I went to the Howard Arms 'Put your mask on. Me- 'I just want a pint' 'Put your mask on and wait there' I did so and a lass appeared with a big mask on and led me via an arrowed one way system to a table in the corner. 'What do you want?' Me- 'A pint of Old Peculiar'. She returned with a pint glass full of beer on a tray. I looked grateful and smiled. 'You take the glass' she said. I did so. 'Pay as you leave' she said.
I sat there feeling so guilty for wanting a pint of beer.
I downed it and left as soon as I could ignoring the one way system risking arrest and paid by card to a masked barman.

It's a fucking joke. I won't be back. :grrr:

I agree Happy Jack, I haven't been in a pub since March and I've no intention of doing so while this crap carries on.
