It's a rare perk of the job, but there's too many drivers for the workload just now, so we can pick and choose a lot as long as the time off is owed. This was tactical genius on my part because it's daft having holiday days overlapping rest days on the rota, so I now have a week off, work four and have a rota'd long weekend.
