May I politely suggest you stop being such a sycophantic wanker and simply tell the cunt to fuck off like everyone else does?

No you may not.

The last two days have seen record highs of 95F and 96F. It's been running above normal for weeks.
Today, in the warmest part of the day, it's 63F and maybe the heat wave is over. :)

Yesterday there was a long, fairly narrow, powerful storm that stretched from the Louisiana Gulf coast to Nova Scotia in Canada - 3500 km
I don't think that there were fatalities but hundreds of thousands lost power and dozens of homes and vehicles were damaged by falling trees.

It has been raining heavily non-stop for 24 hours here in Sheffield, to wit 82.16mm or 3.2346 inches of rain has fallen in that time.

My poor Mother is stranded at the top of her steps and cannot get out to the shops.

I've no time to bother with her though, I'm on my way to work. I'm going to have to overtake this red Polo on the inside which I know is an illegal road manoeuvre, but we'll be here all day otherwise.

I have issued and fitted the daughter (right) with suitable clothing to enable her to get to school easily, her friend's father has had a similar idea. Nothing is worse than a soaking wet school uniform in my opinion.

The internet is pretty good, should be no bother getting on here. :)

I was on a fire once and about the 3rd day a very cold incessant rain set in. We were cold and soaked - though the fire was going out - and no rides til morning. We had sleeping bags but no tents. One sunny-dispositioned guy spoke up and said, "You know, there are some people who don't think that this is fun."

What was funny was that he survived the night without being assaulted by a coworker. :)

Yeah, well, it's drizzly rain here and the temp will be lucky to climb into double figures.

The rains have cleared, but we saw snow today - from a distance on the mountain tops in Cumbria.

It's not quite the middle of November and snow covers 30% of the USA excluding Alaska. This is very unusual for so early in the season. The National Weather Service reported record low temperatures were set from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico.
