It was a cost cutting measure - she said - and he needed to spend 100% of his time either at the front desk or in the stacks where she could monitor his work habits. :D

I can imagine what his previous "work habits" involved. :snigger:

Southampton 0-9 LCFC - the biggest ever away victory in the 131-year history of the Football League :lcfc:

I am making a heroic effort NOT to imagine that. :D Life is tough enough without...well, let's just say: I am glad the lock was changed.

Magistrate 'Judges' are shit, If the charge is serious enough, take it to the Crown Court.

With the abolition of legal aid (from whatever year ago), this affects everyone. But it never affected the people with money.

My brother isn't rich but he has always been financially able to take most cases to the Crown Court. Apart from the shittiest cases that only Magistrates can deal with. Like pissing in public.

It's only in an 'either way' case where the magistrates court determines it can still hear it, that you could nonetheless opt for jury trial at Crown Court.

Juries apparently convict less often, but the process is more expensive, takes longer, is more complicated and the outcomes harder to appeal. And as noted, harsher punishments could be given.

Money helps, clearly, but it's not always better to be judged by your 'peers'.

If you're going to play it out of tune, then play it out of tune properly.

Their standards of social distancing are very poor, and they seem to have no PPE. It's a Health and Safety disaster, not a hard hat nor hi-viz jacket between them. They do not look to be a reputable company.

BTW, have you fired your cleaning woman? If not you should do, those window frames are filthy. My Romanian girl keeps my place immaculate, and for just £2.50 an hour.
