Can't believe it's been 2 years. :(

Here's what I thought was one of his funniest avatars....

It's three years today since Elvis left the building. I only met him once but he made an indelible impression on me. RIP EC, wherever you are. :)

I can't believe it's three years. :(

I met him at a Fall gig once and bought him a pint, but he never stood his round, the rascal.

I don't know why, but Richard didn't seem to like me. All the other ppl on the forum were fond of him, so I wasn't mean to him despite him being mean to me.
David didn't care for me either, or forum member Surplus Ronnie.

It was two Christmases ago that we lost David Cavanagh aka Zoot Horn Polo of this parish. I often think of his witty writing on the FoF and I like to think he'd have appreciated this place. RIP Zoot. :)

His Peel book, 'Goodnight and Good Riddance' was excellent. A very sad loss. RIP Zoot. :(

I've seen some of their writings on the shit forum, and understand from the tributes :hi: paid to them by people there - and here - that they brightened the place up.

RIP to both EC and Zoot.

I never cared for Zoot, in a debate about The New Seekers, he had the temerity to suggest 'I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing' was a better song than 'Beg Steal Or Borrow'. :wtf:

I looked them - and her - up.

She looked quite decent when they were having hits.

I'd like to teach the world to sing seems alright - although my sentiments would be more "I'd like to teach the world to stab Routemaster", it seems a decent song.

Hats off to Zoot. Both his and EC's forum posts would be well worth collecting together. The brightest lights on the old Forum.
