Keeping a tank of tropical fish at home can have a marvellous calming effect on the brain.

Apparently it's all to do with the indoor fins.

I took my goldfish to the vet last week as I was convinced it had epilepsy.

The vet said it looked absolutely fine - I said 'hang on, I haven't taken it out of the bowl yet'.

I've been watching A Very English Scandal. I never knew that Jeremy Thorpe played the violin.

Frankly I'm surprised at someone you like posting such a base, homophobic comment.

Warning for Flowercake.

I discovered flat peaches today. They've never been available in Swindon before but are readily available in North Yorkshire I understand.

I also learned they become rotten in hot weather after an hour but that's not a problem as I can simply buy a Prunus persica (var. platycarpa) plantation and have them sent over one by one as and when I desire.

Money management is in the national school curriculum.

This is excellent news but I may need to go back to school as I may have blown my golden handshake... :wtf:

I’ve worn my Y-fronts the way I was taught as a child all my life. No longer. Learnt a new method yesterday. You can have the hole at the front instead of shitting through it.

I'd be only too happy if my name was an anagram of one of the finest old football clubs in the country and a founder of the football league, but it is not the case.
