Jeez - how can a person expect to get some sleep with staffers seated on either side of your bed sitting and staring, sitting and staring, sitting and staring, observing you?
You'll be glad to leave that situation behind. :)

Not quite that close an observation, FHC.

They'll just monitor the blood pressure , oxygen levels, that sort of thing by linking me up to a machine every three hours. That I can live with, it's the shouting and bawling the staff make that pisses me off.

Thanks for the clarification...I've been misled & appreciate the correct information.

I guess the staff "gets It out of their systems" at work instead of taking It home.
They should learn to leave their peeves and irritations in the pub before going home like normal people.

May i raise a question, at this point...does the derogative 'Dago' synonim for Wop actually derive from dagger? Image

It's derived from the Spanish name 'Diego'.

Dan

'Dannynomates' is derived from the Wop word 'danneggiato' which means 'damaged' in your language.

In the USA, dago is often used among Italian/Americans in referring to each other on friendly terms. It is also a slur term as the point was made above.

The Stooges song 'Loose' has exactly the same riff as Deep Purple's 'Smoke on the Water'. Now, i assume 'Loose' is from 1970, because it sits on the same album as, er... '1970'. In which year was 'Machine Head' published?. Couldn't care less to check myself.

I'm already horribly drunk, note. :)
