Catch The Beat - Pioneers

Have you ever heard The Pioneers do Bye Bye Love? It's one of my favorite reggae cover songs.

I have now FHC. Very good, but it's hard to make a mess of a song like that. :)

I'm Looking Through You - Beatles

Those Gibson Everly guitars are very pricey today if you're lucky enough to run across one. Very fancy pick guards on both sides of the sound hole which really didn't do much for the sound but it was different. I think the pick guards were mainly for show anyway.

Rough Boys - Pete Townshend

They also wrote Rocky Top which is odd somehow.

In Calgary all the street buskers have Gibsons. How they afford I don't know, maybe a government programme.

Rough and Rocky Road - Mr Google Eyes

I like Gibson acoustics. I had a round shouldered J-45 that had exceptional tone. I think Keith played a Gibson Hummingbird for the album Beggars Banquet.
For jazz, I would not trade or sell my two 1967 Super 400s (one a C, one a CES).
The busking must be good in Calgary...I bet the geeters weren't made in Kalamazoo though...Gibson went downhill fast when they screwed the workers and moved to Montana back in the 70s or so.

I guess I didn't know they wrote Rocky Top. That's a good song to yodel to if you can yodel which I cannot.
