I've been busy this week Amber but it will be soon.

I understand Greasy Roads, though routemaster does manage to fit his reviews around a hectic work schedule.

Hi Amber, I'm afraid what with visiting Villa Park this afternoon and seeing Imperial Wax tonight there won't be any Fall On 45 today. I hope your baby's father is doing the decent thing. I've heard he's quite close to home.

You say that as if it's a bad thing.

Well here you go Amber. Cab It Up was indeed the next outing from the gruppe. Cab It Up's ok, but Dead Beat Descendant really should have been the A side as it has perfect credentials for a single: at two and a half minutes it's the perfect length and it's got a great riff; it did appear on the album but that seems to have gone by the board by now. Ian Broudie is again at the controls for Cab It Up with MES and Shan Hira sharing the honours on Dead Beat Descendant. The 12" is filled up with fairly forgettable live versions of Kurious Orang and Hit The North. It's the end of the first Brix era on 45.

On that 12" Deadbeat Descendant is on the A Side.

Kurious Oranj.
The two live tracks are straight off the Seminal Live album (CD not vinyl) while Cab It Up is horribly faded out early and misses the manic closing section found on IAKO. So it's basically a rip off, only DBD being unique. You should have mentioned these vital points in your review.
